Tax&Legal Alert || General Resolution (ARCA) 5720/2025 – Recovery of the PAIS Tax

Through RG 5720, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) established a special procedure for the refund of uncomputed advance payments of the PAIS Tax by importers.

Interested importers must complete a sworn declaration of advance payments of the PAIS Tax for the import of goods through ARCA’s web service “Registry of import clearances with uncomputed advance payments of the Tax for an Inclusive and Solidary Argentina – PAIS,” created specifically for this purpose.

The submission period will run from July 8 to August 22, 2025, inclusive.
